Personally, I think the iPad would be more of a hassle than using either an iPod Touch or a regular laptop computer. Apple strives to provide us with amazing products that are easy to use. I feel as though the iPad itself is an awkward tool to use on a regular basis. The technology is similar to that of the Touch, and the tablet style has been around for quite some time so I would not call this tool revolutionary.
I think that the iPad is missing important tools such as a cd player and usb ports. If someone is to rely on this like a laptop then they would need to be able to charge other devices. As well, it appears that everything would need to be downloaded from the internet and most likely you would need to pay for all of these services. So although they are offering at a very low starting price, I feel as though this would be a very expensive product in the long run.
